Incident Narrative

An employee was climbing up the crane's fixed ladder to access the deck of the crane in order to work on the jib bracket. As he climbed onto the deck, he lost balance and fell about 4 feet to the ground resulting in a broken left fibula. He was admitted to the hospital.
