Incident Narrative

An employee was clearing a blockage in a pipeline and proceeded to blow the line with compressed air. There was a filter screen in the line. The lid on top of the filter screen blew off the filter striking the employee in the face. The employee was hospitalized for a fractured nose and other facial bones.
