Incident Narrative

An employee was helping to load a barrier rail clamp onto a lowboy trailer. When the clamp was over the correct stop on the trailer, he directed the operator to lower the clamp. His left hand was resting on the clamp. As the clamp settled on the trailer, it closed enough to catch and amputate his left ring fingertip.
