Incident Narrative
An employee was operating a crane to load material onto the hydraulic press brake. The plate clamp on the crane hook became disconnected. The employee's thumb on his right hand became caught between the metal plate on the crane and the press brake. The employee suffered an amputation of the thumb on his right hand as a result of the incident.
