Incident Narrative
Two employees were installing the top wall plate and caulking the seams of a previously erected pre-manufactured wall. One employee was in a man lift and the second employee was working from the ground. The wall fell over as a result of a sudden wind gust. The temporary supports holding the wall in place failed and the wall fell onto the man lift and struck both employees. One of the employees sustained two broken ankles and the other employee dislocated the right hip. The pre-manufactured framed wall (structural insulated pane) measured approximately 18 feet in height by 120 feet in length.
