An automatic stacker machine became jammed with wood boards. An employee hit the boards with a hammer from underneath to loosen them up and unjam the machine. The boards became unjammed and spilled out of the machine onto the employee's leg. The employee suffered a broken left leg that required hospitalization for surgery.
