Incident Narrative

Two maintenance mechanics were adjusting a sensor on a shrink wrapper. The sensor was located under the wrapper table. After adjusting the sensor, the mechanics were moving the table back into position when the table shifted, catching the finger of one of the maintenance mechanics. The employee suffered the partial amputation of the right middle fingertip.
