Incident Narrative
On August 6, 2015, an employee was trimming scrap boards with a chop saw at the end of his shift. He activated the foot pedal while his hand was removing boards. The saw amputated the tips of his middle and ring fingers. He was transported to the hospital where the doctor removed a portion of the bone in order to close the wound.
