Incident Narrative

An employee was cleaning up hot pulp that had spilled on the floor (approximately 6-inches deep). The employee's rubber boots became stuck in the pulp. As he tried freeing himself, his left foot came out of his boot. His unprotected foot landed in the pulp, causing second degree burns up to his ankle.
