An employee lost their balance while descending the stairs of a John Deere QC-54. When the employee reached out to grab something, the wedding ring on the left hand got caught, avulsing the left ring finger from the second knuckle to the fingertip and removing the fingertip at the first knuckle. The rest of the finger to the second knuckle was removed during surgery.
