Description
This recall involves boy's hooded sweatshirts style B639BC in colors black, chocolate and charcoal. The velour sweatshirts were sold in sizes S, M, L, or XL and have the name "Beverly Hills Polo Club" on the hangtag and on the center back neck.
Hazard
The sweatshirts have drawstrings through the hoods, posing a strangulation hazard to children. In February 1996, CPSC issued guidelines (which were incorporated in to an industry voluntary standard in 1997) to help prevent children from strangling or getting entangled on the neck and waist drawstrings in upper garments, such as jackets or sweatshirts.

None reported.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the sweatshirts to eliminate the hazard, or return the garment any Burlington Coat Factory store for a full refund.

Sold At
Burlington Coat Factory nationwide from September 2007 through October 2009. The sweatshirts sold for about $15.
