Description
Carbon monoxide can accumulate in the 4x4 RTV500 utility vehicle's cab when the engine is idling and the vehicle is not moving.
Hazard
Carbon monoxide can accumulate in the vehicle cab when the engine is idling and the vehicle is not moving, resulting in carbon monoxide poisoning.
Incidents / Injuries
Two instances of headaches attributed to carbon monoxide gas have been reported to the firm.
Remedy
Consumers should contact their Kubota dealer to schedule a free repair of the recalled vehicle, including the installation of a high-velocity exhaust tail pipe, the installation of special seals inside the cab and a check of the ventilating system.
