Description
The tilt-turn stay arm and side-hung sash hinge adjustable window fittings can break. This can cause the window to fall.
Hazard
The window fittings can break. This can cause the window to fall, posing an injury hazard to consumers.
Incidents / Injuries
G-U Hardware has received two reports from the Far East of windows falling, including one report of a broken thumb. There have been no incidents reported in the U.S.
Remedy
Contact G-U Hardware to arrange for the free replacement and installation of new window fittings.
