Description

The backrest's adjustment brackets can break. The recalled workbenches are free-standing and are typically used for free weight workouts.

Hazard

The weld on the backrest adjustment brackets of the weight workbench can break, posing an injury hazard to consumers.

Incidents / Injuries

Powertec is aware of one incident involving a minor injury.

Remedy

Consumers should immediately stop using the product until they order and install a free safety retrofit repair kit. Consumers can also return the product for a full refund.
