Description

The Easy Go XP Lock Via Ferrata-style lanyards can break as a result of deterioration. This poses a risk of serious injury or death to the climber.

Hazard

The elastic webbing on the lanyards can deteriorate over time and break while in use, posing a risk of serious injury or death to the climber.

Remedy

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled lanyards and contact Liberty Mountain for a refund or replacement.

Specialty climbing shops nationwide and online at Amazon.com and other internet retailers between April 2011 to August 2012 for about $120.
