Incidents / Injuries
Pier 1 Imports has received five reports of the chair tipping over in stores with consumers in them, including one report of a consumer who received contusions and scratches.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled swivel armchairs and discard the product.
Units Affected
About 2,500 in the U.S. (in addition, about 30 were sold in Canada)
Sold At
Pier 1 Imports stores nationwide and online at www.Pier1.com from December 2014 through July 2015 for between $375 and $580.
