Remedy

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled kiteboard control systems and contact Liquid Force for a free replacement chicken loop release mechanism. The firm is contacting all owners of the kiteboard control systems directly.

About 2,050 (in addition, about 40 were sold in Canada)

Sold At

Surf and specialty stores nationwide and by independent sales representatives from December 2014 through February 2015 for about $500.
