Description
A nylon runner with a tape splice (two cut ends joined by masking tape) will fail in normal use.
Hazard
A nylon runner with a tape splice (two cut ends joined by masking tape) will fail in normal use, posing a risk of death or injury due to a fall.
Incidents / Injuries
None reported
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled nylon runners, inspect for the presence of a tape splice and contact Black Diamond for instructions on obtaining a free replacement nylon runner.
