Incident date: Jul 24, 2026
The contact owns a 2021 Land Rover Discovery. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, several unknown warning lights were illuminated, and the vehicle stalled in the middle of the roadway. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V248000 (Electrical Sy
... stem). The vehicle was towed to the dealer to be diagnosed. The dealer retrieved several fault codes associated with the power supply failure and DC Converter failure. The vehicle was not repaired because there was no repair available for the DC-DC converter failure. The contact stated that the dealer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 108,029.Read more

After the low-pressure fuel pump recall repair was performed on my 2018 Honda CR-V at Doggett Honda Med Center on March 6, 2026, the vehicle began experiencing a serious and repeated loss-of-power condition. The vehicle suddenly loses power without warning. This happens with no clear pattern, at hi
... ghway speeds and also at low speeds. The engine does not shut off, but the vehicle loses the ability to accelerate normally. In some situations, it does not have enough power to safely reach the shoulder, leaving me exposed in traffic. This has now happened multiple times and has become more frequent. I have already narrowly avoided at least three serious rear-end collisions while trying to move the vehicle out of traffic. Yesterday, the vehicle lost power again and a police unit had to escort me so I could safely move the vehicle to the side. When I turn the vehicle off and restart it, it temporarily returns to normal, but the problem keeps coming back. This makes the vehicle unsafe and unreliable for normal use. The vehicle is my work vehicle, and I depend on it for transportation. I am now unable to work normally or travel safely because I do not know when the vehicle will suddenly lose power again. This condition places my life and the lives of my passengers at risk. I contacted both the dealership and American Honda Corporate. However, my safety concern has been minimized, and I was told that I would have to pay for diagnosis, even though this problem began after Honda performed recall work on the fuel system. I am reporting this because this is a serious safety issue. A vehicle that suddenly loses power in traffic, without warning, creates a real risk of collision, injury, or death. Honda should properly investigate whether the recall repair, fuel pump system, connectors, wiring, or related fuel delivery components caused or contributed to this dangerous condition.Read more

... on the road with a recall that could start a fire in the engine compartment that no one knows what causes it except that it has something to do with the radiator fans. This is a very serious situation. No one should be able to drive a vehicle with this kind of problem. This recall was issued several months ago, I think from October 2025. This van has a camper made in it by Thor Twist and sold by Camping World in Arkansas. We bought it to travel around the country we retire. What a nightmare. We have a granddaughter who lives with us and goes camping with us most of the time. We also have a handicapped daughter who also travels with us sometimes. She has never been able to walk. What if the van catches on fire while she is with us? My wife and I are in our mid [XXX] . We have been losing sleep thinking about this The people we bought it from said it’s not their responsibility, same as Thor Twist. They say it’s a chassis problem and we need to call Chrysler Corporation. I called the Chrysler Corporation the Dodge dealership near our location. Recall notice states “The remedy for this condition is not currently available. We can’t plan any vacation time due to this recall. We now have nightmares about traveling anywhere in this van. We paid over $100,000 for this van and cannot use it. We are requesting that we return the van and get all our money back. We have had nothing but problems with this van and worry about making any trips in it in the future. We have had it in the shop 4 times for recalls and several other times for malfunctioning issues. We were unable to use the van for weeks at a time. Let us return it please. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

I own a 2020 Harley-Davidson Road Glide equipped with keyless ignition, where the motorcycle is started using the right handlebar run/stop switch. The ignition switch on the triple tree remains installed and is used only for the fork lock. The motorcycle can be started and operated while the ignitio
... n switch is in the fork lock position. The fork lock does not fully engage unless the handlebars are turned fully to the left. This creates a condition where the motorcycle can be ridden with the fork lock partially engaged. While riding, if the handlebars are turned fully left, the fork lock can suddenly engage, causing an immediate steering lock and loss of control. There is no interlock to prevent the motorcycle from starting or being operated with the fork lock engaged or partially engaged, and there is no warning to the rider that the fork lock is engaged. I experienced this condition personally, which resulted in a loss of control of the motorcycle. This presents a serious safety hazard.Read more

This vehicle should be considered as a "drive at your own risk" vehicle. Engine randomly fails to start using push button start in coordination with pressing on the brake pedal. Dash and gages indicated all electrical systems were on and no warning symbols were displayed. Repeated attempts by owner
... to start vehicle failed. Attempts using remote start app erroneously indicated that the vehicle was already in operation. Fail-to-start generally existed for 2-4 hours before the vehicle would randomly start. Failure to start and stranding owner repeated 4 times over the next 8 days, including while the vehicle was in service shop of Dealer. Dealer service could not identify source of the problem and produced records that the safety recall for the battery ground stud issue had already been performed. Dealer service records (attached) recommended against driving vehicle due to "what seems to be intermittent high speed power train communications fault". Owner has requested Dealer By Back due to this repetitive and unresolved safety problem. Refusal from Land Rover to buy the vehicle back places this consumer safety issue back into owners hands which triggered the moral obligation to submit this information to the NHTSA as a safety problem.Read more
