He Jacob reached out the next day and told me it would need further inspection. I finally got in touch with a manager Mark he said the part broke when they attempted repair and this was due to the age of the car. I told him it was no issues before they touched it and I would like it fixed he told me to bring it in and they would inspect free of charge next thing I know he called and told me I was responsible for repairs. The AHR on the front passenger's side did not deploy, which indicates that this was a malfunction limited to the driver's side AHR. I have been advised by my local Jeep dealership that this is not a "covered" malfunction and will cost approximately $500 to replace the AHR, "assuming they can get the part in stock." I was further advised that the warranty for this part was extended, but if it didn't malfunction within the covered period, then the owner is responsible for any later malfunction because it was "not a recall."Read more
