This vehicle is subject to NHTSA Recall 26V067 (JLR campaign H570/H571/H572) for high-voltage battery thermal overload risk. The recall remedy instructs owners to park and charge the vehicle outside and away from structures. My property does not allow for this: the vehicle must be garaged in a bay d
... irectly beneath an occupied room, adjacent to two other vehicles, and near the home's main electrical panel and gas furnace. There is no alternative outdoor charging location on my property. I am currently unable to comply with the manufacturer's own safety instruction for this recall, which leaves me either storing a known fire-risk vehicle against manufacturer guidance or unable to use the vehicle at all. The permanent remedy for this recall population is still under development as of this filing. I have submitted a written demand to JLR for repurchase and have received no substantive response as of August 4, 2026.Read more

This vehicle was bought new and is a NEW 2026 GMC TERRAIN DENALI with less than 5,000 miles at this time. It is a continuous event and not a specific failure date, but began soon after purchasing. The specific parts are UNKNOWN. It could be tires, wheels, steering parts (CV JOINTS, CONTROL ARMS ETC
... ) or possibly transmission. I took it initially to the purchasing dealership and they took it for a ride and just dismissed the problem without investigating. Several days later I called and talked to the person who sold me the SUV and was told either him or service manager or both would call me, but neither did so. They were to set up a return date. After this insulting experience I decided to take it to a Cadillac dealer that I have had great experience with in the past. They took it for a ride and did experience the problem and investigated what they thought could be causing the SUV to wobble, shimmy, or shaking sensation. This Cadillac dealer said there investigation showed nothing wrong and returned the vehicle to me and said nothing could be done unless GM gave them permission. Next I wrote to the service manager expressing my disappointment in nothing being done and my disappointment in General Motors. There is a Service Bulletin (Document ID: PIT6466). This makes four efforts on my part to get satisfaction with this 2026 GMC TERRAIN DENALI and how it is not fun to drive and there is anxiety on the safety of the vehicle when being driven. *Now for the problem I am experiencing with this 2026 GMC TERRAIN DENALI. There is the sensation of a “wobble, shimmy, or shaking” under low to moderate acceleration when going straight or turning. It could be tires, wheels, steering parts or power train. It is difficult to tell. Sometimes the sensation is as if the wheels will fall off. This is an awful feeling and gives you the feeling the SUV is not safe and it is not fun to drive at all.* Why do I have to drive a brand new expensive SUV and feel unsafe and not enjoy do so?Read more

While driving in normal traffic, when I come to a complete stop and keep my foot on the brake, the Auto Idle Stop system activates as designed. However, when I release the brake to continue driving, the engine intermittently fails to restart properly. Instead, it repeatedly attempts to restart, cycl
... ing on and off several times before shutting down completely. When this occurs, the vehicle becomes disabled in traffic and does not respond as expected. It can take multiple attempts and a significant amount of time before the engine finally restarts, leaving me stranded in intersections or in moving traffic. This creates a serious safety hazard because surrounding vehicles continue moving while my vehicle is unable to move. This problem has occurred multiple times under normal driving conditions and is not an isolated incident. During one occurrence, the vehicle failed to restart after the Auto Idle Stop system activated, leaving my vehicle disabled in traffic. As a result of this incident, my vehicle was involved in a collision that **damaged the front and back bumper**. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured, but the incident clearly demonstrates the significant safety risk associated with this defect. The vehicle is currently at an authorized Honda dealership for diagnosis and repair. I am submitting this complaint because a vehicle that unexpectedly shuts down and fails to restart after Auto Idle Stop activation presents a serious safety hazard. I am concerned that this defect could lead to additional crashes, property damage, or serious injuries if it is not corrected.Read more

My 2025 Honda Odyssey has experienced an intermittent failure of the Auto Idle Stop system on four separate occasions. While stopped at a traffic light, the Auto Idle Stop system shuts the engine off as designed. When I release the brake pedal to proceed after the light turns green, the engine fails
... to restart automatically. Instead, the dashboard lights illuminate and flash, and the vehicle displays the message "Press brake and START button." Pressing the START button once does not restart the engine. I have had to repeatedly press or hold the START button before the vehicle eventually restarts. During these events, the vehicle is completely disabled in active traffic and cannot be driven until it restarts. This has occurred four times, including while stopped at busy multi-lane intersections. The vehicle remained stationary after the traffic signal turned green while surrounding traffic expected it to move. This created a safety hazard because the vehicle unexpectedly became immobilized in an active traffic lane. I took the vehicle to an authorized Honda dealership. The service advisor acknowledged they are aware of similar complaints from other 2025 Odyssey owners but indicated Honda has not provided a definitive repair or service procedure. A diagnostic appointment has been scheduled. I have also found numerous reports from other 2025 Honda Odyssey owners describing the same Auto Idle Stop failure. In many of those cases, dealerships ultimately replaced the starter under warranty after diagnosis. The consistency of these reports suggests this may not be an isolated incident. I am submitting this complaint because this is a safety issue. A vehicle that unexpectedly cannot move when traffic begins to flow creates a risk of a rear-end or other collision.Read more

The vehicle has experienced repeated high‑voltage battery system failures consistent with the symptoms described in the current open safety recall for this model. The vehicle first displayed a “High Voltage System Fault” warning, loss of A/C cooling, and inability to charge. A dealer confirmed
... an HV isolation fault and documented an isolation reading of only 38 megaohms, which is far below normal and indicates a dangerous high‑voltage isolation breakdown. They replaced the front inverter (EPIC), the 3‑phase cable, and the high‑voltage cable to the battery. Less than a year later, the same “High Voltage System Fault” warning reappeared and the vehicle again became unable to charge. The dealer stated that “the same repair performed in the front is now needed in the rear,” indicating a second HV isolation failure in another section of the high‑voltage system. This suggests a systemic defect in the high‑voltage battery pack or associated components, consistent with the recall involving thermal overload, internal shorts, and isolation failure. The vehicle is currently subject to an open recall instructing owners to limit charging to 90% and charge only outdoors due to fire risk. The repeated failures create a safety hazard due to potential thermal events, loss of propulsion, and inability to safely charge the vehicle. The problem has been confirmed by the dealer multiple times. Despite this, the dealer is attempting to charge for repairs that appear directly related to the recall defect, and no permanent remedy has been provided.Read more

This is an urgent update to a safety complaint filed on May 28, 2026 regarding a 2020 Jaguar I-PACE (VIN: [XXX] ). Today, May 29, 2026, a Jaguar Corporate Executive Liaison officially issued a written denial of alternative safe transportation (Case #XXX). The manufacturer explicitly claimed in writi

JLR federal filings state that the final physical remedy (H572) is still under development and that instructions to park outside away from structures remain actively in effect. The manufacturer is actively misrepresenting the safety metrics of an uncorrected high-voltage battery fire risk to consumers. Furthermore, because I reside at [XXX] —a high-density neighborhood heavily vulnerable to fire spread and directly adjacent to the active Palisades wildfire zone—complying with the "park outside away from structures" mandate while holding the car is a physical impossibility. ... I was charged $300 diagnostic fee. It's unclear if the airbags would deploy in a collision based on the fault. The service manager shared with me that there are two reasons for the issue in his experience - 1. the vehicle was in a collision and the sensors fail to lock out or 2. there is wiring under the seat that failed either at the harness or on the wire directly. #1 can be ruled out by the vehicle history report and the car was never in a collision. #2 is the only viable reason based on vehicle use. If this is the case, it's a design flaw that must be addressed by the manufacturer. More investigation should be conducted to find the cause (e.g. electronic seat adjustments damaging SRS wiring, faulty electrical components, OTA software patches, etc.).
