PARKING BRAKE
Defect Description
International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2019-2025 CV vehicles. The brake pressure sensor assembly may leak brake fluid into the brake pressure switch and cause a short circuit.
Consequence
An electrical short in the brake pressure switch can overheat the circuit and increase the risk of a fire while driving or parked.
Remedy
Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the recall repair is complete. Dealers will replace the brake pressure switch/fuse harness, free of charge. AIR BAGS: AIR BAG/RESTRAINT CONTROL MODULE:SOFTWARE
Defect Description
Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2025 International CV vehicles. The air bag module may not have been activated during installation.
Consequence
Inactive air bags will not deploy during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy
Navistar will activate the air bag modules, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 22, 2024. Owners may call Navistar Customer Service at 331-332-1590.
