PARKING BRAKE
Defect Description
International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2019-2020 CV vehicles. The brake pressure switch harness may not have protective material on the wires, causing a short circuit and reducing brake performance.
Consequence
Reduced brake performance can extend stopping distance and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will remove, add protective material, and reinstall the brake pressure switch harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 1, 2025. Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2017-2023 International CV trucks. The brake pressure switch assembly may leak brake fluid into the brake pressure switch's electrical components and cause an electrical short-circuit.
Consequence
An electrical short in the brake pressure switch can overheat the circuit and increase the risk of a fire while driving or parked.
Remedy

Consequence
If the malfunction warning does not light, the driver may not be aware of an inoperative ABS or Automatic Traction Control (ATC) system, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Navistar will notify owners, and dealers will program the BCM software with a new calibration, free of charge. This recall began July 20, 2020. Owners may contact Navistar customer service at 1-800-448-7825. Navistar's number for this recall is 20505.

(Maintainer) is recalling certain modified 2019-2020 International CV 515 and Chevrolet Silverado tow vehicles equipped with Allison 2700 series transmissions with Chelsea Power Take Offs (PTO). The PTOs were installed incorrectly and as a result, the attachment... Read more
Consequence
If the PTO attachment hardware loosens it could cause a loss of transmission fluid which may result in the rear wheel locking up, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Maintainer will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the PTO and install a new attachment stud kit, free of charge. The recall began June 9, 2020. Owners may contact Maintainer customer service at 1-800-831-8588.

At 77,000 Kilometers, check engine light came on, during inspection it is observed that there is an active coolant intrusion leak in cylinders 1 and 3. This is a Ford Edge 2018, with a 2.0L Ecoboost engine. The car is undriveable and needs a full engine replacement.
