When I started my 2022 Ford F-150 equipped with the Bang & Olufsen (B&O) sound system, a sudden extremely loud “sonic boom” noise came through the speakers without warning. The sound was so intense it caused immediate pain in my ears, and I am concerned about the possibility of permanent hearing
... damage. This occurred at startup, before I adjusted any audio settings. This is a serious safety hazard because: The volume level was far beyond normal operation. It caused physical harm (ear pain). Such an unexpected loud noise could startle the driver, leading to loss of vehicle control. I believe this defect poses a risk of injury and should be investigated.Read more

I was driving down the road and heard a loud clunking noise. Then I had lost power and the rear wheels were spinning out of control. There was a grinding/spinning/whirring noise coming from beneath the vehicle, sounded like from behind. I was fortunately able to regain control of the vehicle by s
... hifting it into 4WD and avoided an accident. I brought the Vehicle to Gaudin Ford for repair and was informed it was a recalled part failure recall number 23S65. I had previously requested the recall repairs to be performed during routine maintenance, but was informed parts were not available. At this time, I've been 6 weeks without my truck and there is no end in site. It was insinuated that they might not even be making this part anymore, but the Ford recall center was unable to confirm or refute this. In the interim, I do not have a suitable replacement. I have been provided a small vehicle as a loaner, but I am unable to use this to drive >50 mile radius, I can't leave the state, can't loan it to my children, can't tow or haul. All the things I need my truck for, I'm unable to do. Either, I need access to a rental with similar capability to my truck without all the restrictions, or fix the truck in a timely manner, or provide me a suitable loaner without all the restrictions, or buy back my truck, or something. Instead I feel like I'm being held hostage by a company who is refusing to fulfill the recall responsibility in a timely and suitable manner. I have contacted the dealer, Ford customer service, and the Ford recall center on numerous occasions and have been told that other than getting an update when the part is available, there's nothing else they can do. On July 30, 2025, as I was pulling onto the highway, my audio system started blaring noise from all the speakers in the vehicle. This noise was unbearably loud to the point I had to pull off the road. The noise coming from the speaker system was so loud that it was visibly shaking the door panels
... in the vehicle. I tried to turn down the volume, but it didn't help. After this, I tried turning off the vehicle's entertainment system, which still didn't help. I finally turned the car off, opened the door, got out, and then closed the door; however, the noise persisted for about 10 seconds before finally shutting off. Upon restarting the vehicle, the noise stopped, and I was able to drive for about a mile before starting again. At this point, I drove the car to my local Ford garage and, the problem was able to be replicated. They could not figure out how to fix the issue, but pulled the fuse to the audio system to prevent the sound from occurring and scheduled me to come back to inspect the vehicle at a later date.Read more

From my research online, tons of others are complaining about it too. The dealership wanted $2400.00 to replace it, with what is likely another faulty light that would have the same issue in a few years. This is a hazard to myself and others because my vehicle isn't lit up like it should be so that I am visible to others on the road. Also I have had 4 or 5 water leaks in the brief time of owning this truck that ford has blamed on me. Water gets in and collects on the passenger side floorboard under the carpet. I have been without my vehicle multiple times while they attempted to get a specialist to find the issue. Had to pay for my own rental vehicle for a week because they " dont give out loaners" even when you are under warranty.Read more

On Sunday, [XXX], my truck spontaneously burst into flames while parked in my front yard. I had just returned from doing a number of errands. The truck had been running fine with no indications of a problem. I was outside tending to my smoker when I heard a sort of popping/crackling noise. I looked
... up at my truck approximately 40 feet away and saw flames shooting out from the engine bay through the hood gaps. I called 911 and attempted to douse the flames with a powder fire extinguisher with no luck. By the time the fire department arrived 15 minutes later or so, the truck was fully involved and burnt to the frame. I didn't smell gasoline during the initial startup, but a strong smell of burning wires. The concerns are of course for my safety and that of my family. It was just luck that the truck was parked in the front yard rather than next to my house where it's normally parked. We were have a sidewalk put in and thus my normal parking space wasn't available. I could've been driving at the time and with the speed of this fire, I'm not confident I would've been able to get out. The truck has been seen by the insurance company and is being towed out of my yard sometime today May 29th, 2025. I don't know where it will towed to. I have pictures and videos detailing the fire and it's progression. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

There is a problem with the heating controls. The temperature will be set at 72 and is stable for awhile, even days, then will spontaneously heat until it's unbearably hot. This is a huge distraction while driving to having to keep messing with the controls. Safety issue! After numerous complaint
... s to Ford's service department with no results as the technicians cannot duplicate issue and there are no codes. Purchased a thermal imaging camera: 97.8 dash vents, 55.1 at knees and 80 degrees at feet (driver's side). This is not a situation where the heating system is just trying to bring the cab up to temperature as this occurs when the truck has already been on the road for over an hour at a comfortable temperature and then it just erratically starts spewing out unbearable temperatures. I have thermal imaging pictures as high as 153 degrees Fahrenheit while the set temperature is 70. Something definitely wrong. I am submitting this complaint as I am tired of turning the truck in for repairs. Maybe if enough people say something, Ford will do something.Read more
