Full Narrative
On June 1, 2013, at 1215 universal coordinated time, a SAAB model 91C (Safir) airplane, Swedish registration SE-KVC, collided with terrain shortly after takeoff from the Söderhamn Airport (ESNY), near Söderhamn, Sweden. A postimpact fire destroyed the airplane. The pilot was fatally injured. The airplane was registered to and operated by F15 Flygklubb of Söderhamn, Sweden. Day visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the local airshow flight.
