On May 3, 2013 a Jetstream (British Aerospace) 3200, ES-PJR, equipped with two Honeywell TPE331 engines, operated by Avies AS, experienced a temporary loss of power from both engines during climb out from Sveg Airport, Sweden (ESND). The engines eventually recovered to normal power levels and the crew was able to return to ESND for an uneventful landing.
The Swedish Accident Investigation Authority (SHK) is investigating the incident. As the state of manufacture of the engines, the NTSB has designated a United States Accredited Representative under the provisions of Annex 13 to the Convention of Civil Aviation to assist the SHK in the investigation.
