On March 25, 2013, at 0550 universal coordinated time, a Cessna T210N, VH-MEQ, collided with terrain shortly after takeoff near Roma, Australia. The airplane was operated under the pertinent civil regulations of Australia. The airplane was substantially damaged and the pilot and passenger were fatally injured.
