Full Narrative

On December 26, 2012, at 1020 central standard time, a Cessna 401-A airplane, Mexico registration XB-JJE, sustained substantial damage when it lost engine power and impacted terrain near Cozumel, Mexico. The pilot and 4 passengers on board were not injured. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the flight, which was originating at the time of the accident.
