Full Narrative

On August 12, 2012, at 1115 Universal Coordinated Time (UTC), a Cirrus SR-22, Turkish Registration TC-SAS, was destroyed when it impacted the Marmara Sea during an instructional flight. The two pilots on board were fatally injured. The flight originated from Hazerfan Airport (LTBW), Istanbul, Turkey.
