Full Narrative
On October 10, 2011, a Sky Airlines B737-400 (TC-SKF), S/N 26291 flight ZY 8756 from BADEN (EDSB) to Antalya (LTAI) experience a right landing gear collapse during the landing sequence at Runway 18C. The landing gear tire deflated and A/C collapsed on the right engine and stopped on the runway.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of Turkey is investigating the incident. As the state of manufacturer of some of the airplanes components, the NTSB has designated a US Accredited Representative under the provisions of Annex 13 to the Convention on Civil Aviation to assist the DGCA in their investigation.
