Full Narrative
On April 16, 2010, about 1255 UTC, 5N-BFU, Bell 412EP, operated by Bristow Pan African Airline, had a loss of power followed by an autorotative landing and collision with the ground at Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. There were no injuries to the 3 occupants. The helicopter received minor damage. There was no fire. The flight originated at Warri.
An investigation was instituted by the Nigeria Accident Investigation Bureau (NAIB). As the State of manufacture of the helicopter, a US Accredited Representative was appointed. Please direct inquiries about the investigation to the NAIB.
