Full Narrative
On June 10, 2008, about 1200 UTC, a Cessna 210, registration 5Y-BE, a chartered flight, was en route when it collided with high terrain near Nairegi Enkera, Kenya. The airplane was on a visual flight; instrument meteorological conditions prevailed due to low visibility. The pilot and three passengers,were fatally injured. The airplane was destroyed. There was no fire. The domestic flight originated at Nairobi and the destination was Narok, Kenya.
The investigation is being conducted by the Kenya Air Accident Investigaton Department. As the State of manufacture of the airplane, a US Accredited Representative has been assigned. Please refer all questions about the accident to:
