Event Location
Probable Cause
The pilot's failure to extend the landing gear.
Full Narrative
The pilot reported that following a local area flight, he unintentionally landed the airplane with the gear retracted. According to the Federal Aviation Administration accident coordinator, the airplane sustained wing rib damage. The pilot reported no preimpact mechanical malfunctions or failures with the airplane that would have precluded normal operation.
