Full Narrative
On May 9, 2008, at 1506 eastern daylight time, a Cessna 172M, OB-1366, operated by Servicios Aereos Tarapoto E.I.R.A. SAETA as a business flight, had a total loss of engine power after take off and made a forced landing in a field. The airplane nosed over inverted and received substantial damage. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed and a visual flight rules flight plan was filed. The commercial pilot and three passengers were not injured. The flight was originating from Moises Benzaquen Rengifo Airport, Yurimaguas, Peru at 1506 on May 9, 2006.
