On February 4, 2011 about 1449 UTC, OD-SKY, a Hawker Beechcraft HS-850XP, registered to Club Aviation S.A.L and operated by Sky Lounge services S.A.L., crashed during the initial takeoff climb at Suliamaniyah International Airport, Iraq. The 3 crew members and 4 passengers were fatally injured. The airplane was destroyed and there was a post crash fire. The flight was destined for Istanbul, Turkey.
The investigation is being conducted by the Iraq Civil Aviation Authority. A U.S. Accredited Representative has been appointed as the state of design and manufacture of the airplane and engines.
