On January 11, 2011, about 1430 universal coordinated time, an Avions Pierre Robin, DR400/180R, Italian registration I-ITAV, crashed during takeoff, while towing a glider, and was destroyed by fire. The airplane was departing Guidonia Airport (LIRG), Guidonia Montecelio, Italy for a local flight.
