Full Narrative

On November 26, 2010, 2250 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), a Lufthansa German Airlines Boeing B-747-430,registered as D-ABVM, was taxiing at Frankfurt Main International Airport, when the right hand main landing gear failed. The aircraft was disabled on the taxiway and the subsequent inspection confirmed the failure of the outer cylinder of right main landing gear. There were no injuries to the crew members or the passengers on board. The airplane was not substantially damaged.
