Full Narrative

On October 12, 2010, about 1505 UTC, a Trans Afrique Airlines (under contract to National Air Cargo) Lockheed L-100, registration 5X-TUC, impacted terrain while maneuvering to land at Kabul International Airport (OAKB), Kabul Afghanistan. The two flight crew and six passengers were fatally injured and the airplane was destroyed. The flight originated from Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan.

The investigation is being conducted by the Ministry of Transportation and Civil Aviation of Afghanistan (MoTCA). The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the State of the Manufacturer. All investigation information will be released by the MoTCA.
