Full Narrative
On September 20, 2010 about 1:00 PM local time, a Hungarian Airlines Boeing 737-600, registration HA-LOE, experienced a yaw event at about 95 knots and aborted the takeoff from Budapest Ferihegy International Airport (LHBP), Budapest, Hungary. There were no injuries to the 6 crew members onboard and the airplane was not damaged. The flights intended destination was Helsinki - Vantaa Airport (EFHK), Helsinki, Finland.
The accident is being investigated by the Hungary Transportation Safety Bureau. The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the State of Registration of the Operator and State of Manufacturer.
