Full Narrative
The pilot reported that during the takeoff roll, he lost lateral control when he overcorrected to the left. The airplane lifted off at too high of an angle of attack, stalled, and impacted terrain to the left of the runway. There was extensive buckling of the fuselage just forward of the empennage. The pilot attributed the accident to "low time tailwheel pilot error." The pilot reported he had logged 110 hours in tailwheel airplanes performing takeoffs and landings, 64 hours of which were in the accident airplane. He added, "Additional tailwheel takeoff experience would have prevented the accident."
