Event Location
Probable Cause
The pilot's inadvertent application of the brakes during the landing roll, which resulted in a nose-over.
Full Narrative
The pilot of the tailwheel-equipped airplane reported that during the uneventful landing roll on the dry lakebed, he inadvertently applied the brakes, and the airplane nosed over.
The right wing and rudder were substantially damaged.
The pilot reported that there were no mechanical failures or malfunctions with the airplane that would have precluded normal operation.
