Full Narrative
On August 29, 2019, an Air Tractor AT-502B aircraft, registered P2-SET, operated by Ramu Agriculture Industries, collided with a tree near Gusap, Papua New Guinea. The pilot was fatally injured and the airplane was destroyed.
The Papua New Guinea (PNG) Accident Investigation Commission (AIC) is investigating the accident. As the state of manufacture of the airplane, the NTSB has designated a US accredited representative to assist the AIC in its investigation.
