On March 4, 2018, about 1040 local time, a Cessna U206G airplane, VH-LHQ, was substantially damaged when it impacted water during takeoff near Southport, Queensland, Australia. The pilot and two passengers were not injured. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Australia.
