Full Narrative
On August 1, 2018, about 1245 Pacific daylight time, a Canadian registered float-equipped Cessna 180, C-FCDQ, operated by Fort Langley Air Ltd., was substantially damaged after impacting the surface of Lake Tyaughton, British Columbia, shortly after takeoff. The pilot was seriously injured and the two passengers were fatally injured. The local sightseeing flight originated from and was destined to Tyaughton Lake.
