Full Narrative

The pilot reported that, during the landing roll, the airplane encountered wind, exited the runway to the left, and the wing struck a runway light. The right hand wing sustained substantial damage.

The pilot reported that there were no preaccident mechanical failures or malfunctions with the airplane that would have precluded normal operation.

A review of recorded data from the automated weather observation station located about 7 nautical miles east-northeast, about 5 minutes before the accident, the wind was from 060° at 7 knots. The airplane landed on runway 13.
