On September 21, 2017, at 1820 universal coordinated time, a Cessna 650 (Citation III), Turkish registration TC-KON, operated by Avione Jet, was destroyed by postimpact fire after a runway excursion at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, Istanbul, Turkey (LTBA). The flight departed LTBA at 1805, declared an emergency shortly after departure and was returning to the airport when the accident occurred. Three crewmembers and one passenger were not injured.The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Turkey. Further information can be obtained from:
