On August 10, 2017, about 0930 coordinated universal time, Bell 206L3 helicopter, Algerian registration 7T-WUF, was substantially damaged when it impacted terrain while maneuvering in Algiers, Algeria. The pilot and three passengers were fatally injured. The local aerial photography flight departed Algiers International Airport (DAAG), Algiers, Algeria, and was conducted under Algerian flight regulations.The Algerian Ministry of Transport, Civil Aviation Authority is investigating the accident. As the State of Manufacture and Design of the engine, the NTSB has appointed a US Accredited Representative under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13.
