On May 18, 2017, at an unknown time, a Cessna 206H, Ecuadorian registration HC-CEG, was destroyed when it impacted terrain in Cerro Azul, Ecuador. The foreign certificated pilot and one passenger were fatally injured. The flight departed Jose Joaquin de Olmedo International Airport, Guayaquil, Ecuador, and was destined for General Ulpiano Paez Airport, Salinas, Ecuador.
