On December 23, 2016, about 1830 universal coordinated time, a Beech 58, Brazilian registration PT-ICU, was destroyed when it impacted wooded terrain while on approach to Tabatinga International Airport (SBTT), Tabatinga, State of Amazonas, Brazil. The two foreign certificated pilots and one passenger received fatal injuries, and one passenger sustained minor injuries. The flight departed Tefe Airport (SBTF), State of Amazonas, Brazil; destined for SBTT.This accident investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Aeronautical Accident Prevention and Investigation Center (CENIPA) of Brazil.
