Full Narrative
On November 14, 2016, about 1630 eastern standard time, a Bombardier BD-100-1A10, N303CZ, experienced a runway excursion while landing at Albrook-Marcos A. Gelabert International Airport (MPMG), Panama City, Panama. The airplane was registered to Delaware Trust Company Trustee, Wilmington, Delaware, and the operator is unknown. The four persons on board to include the pilot-in-command were not injured and the airplane sustained minor damage. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time of the incident, and an instrument flight rules flight plan had been filed. The local flight originated from an undetermined location and was destined for MPMG.
This investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Panamanian government. Under the provisions of Annex 13 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation as a State of Design, the United States has designated an accredited representative to participate in the investigation.
